The History of Archbishop James E.
Quigley Seminary continued...
- 1990 - Due to fiscal restraints, the Archdiocese
closes Quigleys North and South and opens Archbishop Quigley Preparatory
Seminary at the traditional campus at 103 East Chestnut Street.
- 1995 - Archbishop Quigley Seminary opens
the doors of the St. James Chapel to the public for the first time.
- 1996 - Archbishop Quigley Seminary is listed
in the National Register of Historic Places.
- 1997 - Phase One of the Restoration begins
with the removal of one quarter of the rose windows and ten window panels
from the west side of the chapel.
